One of our youngest customers, 14-year-old Taylor Cross, has a passion for helping kids. She created the 501(c)(3) nonprofit, Taylor Bears. Located in the DFW area, the nonprofit was established to help as many children feel special and loved as possible.
Taylor organizes teddy bear drives and raises money to buy bears for children in need. Around the neck of each bear, she attaches a tag with a message to each child about how special and loved they are.
Taylor Bears is currently supporting two organizations. One is Cook Children's Hospital in Fort Worth, where they give a teddy bear to every child admitted and are always in need of more bears. Taylor Bears also supports GRACE's Christmas Cottage, which donates teddy bears to less fortunate children at Christmas.
Taylor hopes to continue growing her nonprofit to support more organizations for kids in need.
