Open House 2020 - Plush in a Rush
by Brittni Carraway

For our third annual open house, we changed it up a little this year. We hosted an outdoor “State Bear of Texas” themed open house for our local customers here at our headquarters near downtown Dallas.
We had dozens of customers come out and purchase a bunch of teddy bears and stuffed animals. While most of our customers were from the immediate Dallas area, some came as far away as San Antonio (275 miles away) or Midland (330 miles away). Everyone who came out enjoyed corndogs, funnel cakes, and cotton candy and got their picture taken with our Big Tex dressed bear. We also had wheel that people could spin to win a free plush as well.
The best part of the day was meeting so many of our customers that we've only interacted with over the phone or email. Like the bike gang BACA – Bikers Against Child Abuse, who greeted us with a parade of motorcycles to pick up the plush they purchased.
Thank you to everyone who came out and made this years open house memorable. We're looking forward to next years open house.
