The Spotlight is on Making Chemo Bearable
In 2009, Ragina Ireland was diagnosed with breast cancer. After a year of surgeries and treatment, she was put on the road to full recovery. Her experiences inspired her to found the non-profit Make Chemo Bearable, which educates and supports individuals undergoing chemotherapy.
One of Make Chemo Bearable’s signature efforts is delivering colorfully packaged bears—specifically our Colorama Bears—each with a booklet titled “Tips for Coping with Chemo” nestled on the bear’s lap. These comforting gifts are available for purchase here.
In addition to helpful resources on their site, Make Chemo Bearable also shares stories and updates on their Facebook page.
