From Heart To Heart Sends Us “Fan Mail”
Jacquelyn Davis is the president and founder of From Heart To Heart Inc. (FH2H), a nonprofit based in Suffolk, Virginia, dedicated to bringing comfort to children in times of loss, grief, injury, or trauma by donating personalized teddy bears.
Ms. Davis personally hand-sews a vest for each bear, complete with a stitched quote, scripture, name, or awareness ribbon (such as autism, domestic violence, or child abuse prevention) to create a truly meaningful keepsake.
In just a few years since FH2H’s 501(c) nonprofit establishment in 2018, they’ve donated over 1,000 bears to child advocacy agencies like The Geneve Women’s Shelter, the Suffolk Police Department, and the Suffolk Department of Social Services.
FH2H also partnered with A Box of Love (founded by Dedra Moon), donating over 180 “bears of comfort” to organizations like The Genieve Shelter of Suffolk, USO of Hampton Roads & Central Virginia, and Children of Domestic Violence.
