We realized not too long ago that Plush in a Rush has been operating since 1992, making 2017 our 25th anniversary. Back then, the Internet as we know it didn’t exist, and Plush in a Rush mostly sold teddy bears and stuffed animals the old-fashioned way: writing orders by going door to door with samples. We also ran booths at popular trade shows throughout Texas and its neighboring states.
Since 2003, Plush in a Rush has maintained a popular website, and even though the technology changed, our approach to customer service hasn’t. We still answer the phone when you call, ship virtually all orders same or next business day, and offer low minimums for customers just starting out. We still ship out to customers in our hometown, and as far away as US bases in the Pacific!
Over the years, we’ve added new categories of plush toys. Our mascot heads have been a big hit for 20 years, great for homecoming mum makers and decorators. Our custom-printed items were the most asked for item before we started selling them. Our bread and butter has always been our Valentine’s Day line, with 2016/2017 being the first season where we offered a pre-sale event (it was a big hit).
