Plush in a Rush and Build-A-Bear Deliver Kindness to Kids
Not too long ago, Scott Middlemiss reached out to us for a special project. He wanted us to print teddy bear-sized t-shirts to dress dozens of bears donated to his organization, the Joseph Middlemiss Big Heart Foundation.
Scott and his wife, Kate, began the foundation to honor their son, who passed away at age six from cardiomyopathy. The foundation has three primary goals:
1) To promote "The Joseph Middlemiss All You Need is Love Mission," which fosters, spreads, and documents Random Acts of Kindness on local, national and international fronts.
2) To educate children on the power of kindness by supporting the efforts of schools (creating and leading motivational assemblies, providing books and related resources, buddy benches and kindness libraries), and empowering students through scholarships for music and martial arts.
3) To contribute to research and spread awareness of childhood heart conditions while providing financial and emotional assistance to impacted families by providing pizza parties, brunches and patient and parent care bags.
Be sure to check out this heartwarming video about the group's mission and core values, and if you're on Facebook, give their page a like.
Lastly, If you're a non-profit and want to use t-shirts and teddy bears to raise awareness for your organization, check out our custom-printed products page and let us know if we can help.
We're happy to work with groups to design and implement a solution that's just right for your non-profit.
Have a happy day! We hope you found this post inspirational and informative, and thanks so much to Scott and Kate for starting this beautiful initiative.
